Chicken Strips

Chicken Strips

These Chicken Strips are a staple in our house. They are so easy to prepare, and I often make extra so I can have the leftovers with a salad the next day. I like to dip these in my homemade ranch dressing or my honey mustard dressing.

Ingredients

chicken breast 1 lb
egg, large 1
almond flour 1 cup
garlic powder 1 tsp
sea salt pinch
dried herbs (chives, parsley, and/or dill), minced, optional 1 tsp

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  2. Slice chicken breast into strips.
  3. Whisk egg in a bowl.
  4. Mix almond flour, sea salt, and optional dried herbs and spread out on a plate.
  5. Dredge the chicken in the egg wash, then dust it with the almond flour breading.
  6. Spread out chicken on a cooking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes. Broil an extra minute or two at the end if needed.
  8. Serve Chicken Strips with a side of grilled veggies, or a side salad, and my ranch dressing for dipping.
